The Tuesday after the May 8th "Let's KGK!" I tried to talk about the trip in class. I got as far as translating KGK (キリスト者学生会） as 基督教学生会 and then decided to simplify。。。

上星期六我带我的女儿和三个大学生去了仙台。我们去参加基督教学生会。这个会很有趣，旅行也很有趣。

Takayama by the Sea

I really wanted to elaborate on the camaraderie of a shared journey - especially the long hours in a closed vehicle - but I lack the vocabulary for that sort of philosophizing!

I should still have been able to talk about walking along the cliff overlooking the sea and how happy Daniel was to see it, but ...
